Panther Tight End Hall Balances Books and Blitzes
Nashua South's DeShawn Hall rewrote the Panthers' record books last season with 12 touchdown receptions, including a 65-yard game-winner against rival Nashua North. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound tight end's impressive production on the field has earned him a spot on the NHIAA Division I All-State team. But what's equally impressive is Hall's academic prowess: a 4.0 GPA that has him on track to be one of the top academic performers in the state. Hall's ability to balance the demands of varsity football and rigorous coursework has caught the attention of college scouts, who are monitoring his progress. Coaches at top programs are looking to see how Hall adapts to increased defensive attention this season, as well as his ability to expand his pass-catching repertoire beyond the red zone. With his unique blend of athleticism and academic acumen, Hall is poised to make a strong case for himself as one of the top tight ends in the state.
