Pirate-Sized Gains: Seton Hall Prep's RB Drill for Non-Public A Dominance

This summer, Seton Hall Prep's RBs are gearing up for Non-Public A supremacy with a high-intensity drill that targets explosive acceleration and change of direction. The 'Pirate Shuffle' involves 3 sets of 10 reps, with 30 seconds rest between sets. Start in a 3-point stance, then explosively jump to the side, landing on the outside foot and immediately shuffling back to the starting position. Coaching cues emphasize 'quick feet' and 'aggressive weight transfer.' This drill translates to game performance by improving RBs' ability to quickly change direction and accelerate past defenders. By incorporating the Pirate Shuffle into their training regimen, Seton Hall Prep's RBs will be poised to make a statement in the Non-Public A this fall.
