Penn State Extends Offer to Bergen Catholic's Austin Brown
Penn State has extended a scholarship offer to Austin Brown, the dual-threat quarterback from Bergen Catholic, a Non-Public A powerhouse in New Jersey. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Brown, a Class of 2025 standout, has already seen interest from other top programs, including Ohio State, Michigan and Rutgers. In his junior season, Brown threw for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing for another 1,000 yards and 15 scores. He led the Crusaders to a state championship appearance and was named First Team All-State. Brown's athleticism and arm talent have drawn comparisons to former Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg. With the offer from Penn State, Brown's recruitment is heating up. He plans to visit Penn State in August and will likely make a decision by the end of his senior season, with a possible early signing in December.
