DeShawn Brown Commits to Air Force Academy
Seton Hall Prep Pirates linebacker DeShawn Brown has committed to the Air Force Academy for the class of 2025. Brown, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound outside linebacker, chose the Falcons over offers from Army and Navy. The Pirates' coaching staff has said Brown's athleticism and versatility make him a strong fit for the Air Force's 3-4 defensive scheme. Brown is expected to compete for a starting spot at outside linebacker, where he can utilize his pass-rushing skills and coverage abilities. The Air Force Academy's academic program, which is highly regarded for its STEM fields, also appealed to Brown, who plans to study engineering. Brown had previously committed to the University of Connecticut but reopened his recruitment in April. He is expected to report to Air Force's summer camp in July.
