Bergen Catholic LB Marcus Davis Commits to Army
Marcus Davis, a Class of 2027 linebacker from Bergen Catholic, has committed to Army. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect was a key contributor to the Crusaders' defense last season, recording 82 tackles and 12 tackles for loss. Davis cited Army's 3-4 defensive scheme as a major factor in his decision, stating that it aligns with his strengths as a player. He also praised the Black Knights' strong linebacker depth chart and the opportunity to play alongside top-ranked recruits. Academically, Davis is impressed by Army's rigorous academic program and the opportunity to earn a degree in business administration. Davis had previously considered offers from several Power Five programs, but ultimately chose Army for its unique blend of athletic and academic opportunities. He plans to enroll in the West Point Class of 2031.
