Noah Allen Commits to Texas Tech
Quarterback Noah Allen has committed to Texas Tech, selecting the Red Raiders over offers from several Power Five programs. The Don Bosco Prep Ironmen signal-caller, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose Texas Tech for its pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset. Allen will have the opportunity to compete for the starting job immediately, as the Red Raiders are looking to replace a departing quarterback. Texas Tech's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum, also factored into Allen's decision. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback threw for 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior, leading the Ironmen to a Non-Public A South championship. Allen had previously committed to Rutgers before decommitting in April, citing a desire to explore other options.
