Bryce White Commits to Texas Tech
Don Bosco Prep Ironmen kicker Bryce White has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Class of 2026 standout chose the Big 12 program after a thorough evaluation of its kicking game and overall athletic culture. White believes Texas Tech's 3-4 defensive scheme will allow him to contribute immediately, potentially competing for a starting spot as a freshman. He also cited the school's strong academic programs, particularly in the field of engineering, as a major factor in his decision. White previously held offers from several Power Five schools, including Penn State and Georgia, before decommitting in April. He attended a summer camp at Texas Tech in June, where he reportedly impressed coaches with his leg strength and accuracy. White's commitment adds depth to the Red Raiders' special teams unit, which will look to build on a strong 2025 season.
