The St. Peter's Prep Marauders girls flag football team is gearing up for the inaugural 2028 season of the University of Nebraska's Power 4 program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. While the Cornhuskers' program is still in development, local prospects are already eyeing other NAIA options. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are offering up to 12 and an undisclosed number of scholarships, respectively. These schools are actively recruiting and will be hosting summer camps for aspiring flag football players. The Marauders' coaching staff is encouraging local flag football prospects to attend these camps to get a head start on the recruitment process. Interested athletes can contact the respective schools for more information and to register for the camps.
