Malik Taylor Commits to Kansas State
Los Lunas Tigers defensive end Malik Taylor has committed to Kansas State University. The Class of 2026 standout chose the Wildcats over other Division I offers. Taylor's commitment is a significant addition to the Kansas State defensive line, as he is expected to contribute immediately in the team's 3-4 scheme. With the departure of key defensive ends, Taylor's depth chart opportunity is substantial. Academically, Kansas State's strong engineering program aligns with Taylor's interests. Taylor previously held offers from New Mexico and New Mexico State, but ultimately chose to pursue opportunities at a Power Five program. Kansas State's commitment to developing its players through its athletic training facilities and coaching staff also factored into Taylor's decision.
