LSU Extends Offer to Los Lunas DE Hunter Thomas
The Tigers of Los Lunas High School in New Mexico have another reason to be excited as rising senior defensive end Hunter Thomas has received a scholarship offer from Louisiana State University. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Thomas is known for his impressive speed and agility on the field, boasting a 4.8-second 40-yard dash time and 32-inch vertical jump. He has also recorded 10 sacks and 20 tackles for loss over the past two seasons. Thomas already holds offers from the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University, in addition to the latest offer from LSU. As the recruiting process heats up, Thomas is expected to take official visits to LSU and UNM in the coming months, with a decision likely to be made by the end of the summer. The Class of 2026 standout is considered one of the top defensive prospects in the state of New Mexico.
