Florida Offers Liberty Patriots QB Elijah Jackson
The University of Florida has extended a scholarship offer to Liberty Patriots quarterback Elijah Jackson, a rising senior in the Class of 2025. Jackson, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound dual-threat quarterback, has led the Patriots to a pair of playoff appearances in his first two seasons as a starter. Last season, he completed 62.5% of his passes for 2,345 yards and 18 touchdowns, while also rushing for 744 yards and 12 scores. Jackson has already received offers from Oregon State and UNLV, and has drawn interest from several other Power Five programs. The Patriots are expected to be a top contender in the 5A North division this fall, and Jackson's recruitment is one to watch as the season approaches. With his strong arm and elusive running ability, Jackson is a coveted prospect in the state of Nevada. Recruiting timeline: July - August: Camp circuit, visits to Oregon State and UNLV. September - October: Decision expected, with Florida a strong contender.
