The University of Texas has extended an offer to Class of 2025 safety Cameron Young of the Reno Huskies. Young, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back, recorded 45 tackles and two interceptions in his junior season. He also participated in the 2025 NIAA All-Star Game, showcasing his skills against top competition. Young has also received offers from Oregon State and UNLV, in addition to Texas. As a member of the 5A Reno Huskies, Young has been a key contributor to the team's defensive unit. With his speed, agility and ball-hawking ability, Young is a promising recruit for college programs. The recruiting process is ongoing for Young, who plans to take official visits to Texas and Oregon State in the coming months. He has yet to announce a commitment decision, but is expected to make a decision in the fall of 2024.
