The Monroe Woodbury Crusaders, a Class AA program in the Central Valley, have officially broken ground on a $3 million facility upgrade. The project aims to modernize the team's locker rooms, training facilities and stadium seating. The Crusaders finished last season with a 7-3 record and are looking to improve their chances in a highly competitive Section 9. The upgrade is expected to attract top recruits from the region, as the program seeks to build on its recent success. With the new facilities, head coach John Smith is optimistic about the team's chances in the upcoming season. The Crusaders will face stiff competition from neighboring programs, including the Washingtonville Warriors and the Middletown Orange Knights.
