Canandaigua Braves flag football standout, 16-year-old Emily Wilson, has reportedly garnered interest from the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, as well as several NAIA schools. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, has expressed interest in Wilson's skills. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, have also reached out to the Braves' coaching staff. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, has not yet offered scholarships but is monitoring Wilson's progress.
