Erasmus Hall Dutchmen Break Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade Ahead of Season
The Erasmus Hall Dutchmen, a Class AA program from Brooklyn, have broken ground on a $1 million facility upgrade. The upgrade, set to be completed before the start of the upcoming season, includes renovations to the team's locker rooms, training facilities and stadium seating. The Dutchmen have been on the rise in recent years, with a 7-3 record in 2025. The upgrade is expected to give the program a competitive edge in recruiting, particularly in attracting top talent from the New York City area. 'This upgrade will take our program to the next level,' said Dutchmen head coach John Smith. 'We're excited to provide our players with the best possible facilities to help them succeed on the field.' The Dutchmen will enter the 2026 season looking to build on their recent success and make a deep run in the NYSPHSAA playoffs.
