Young LB Tyler Young Receives Offer from Texas A&M
Texas A&M has extended an offer to Tyler Young, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker from Brooklyn's Erasmus Hall Dutchmen. Young, a rising junior, has also received offers from Boston College, Syracuse and UMass. In his sophomore season, he recorded 75 tackles, 10 sacks and two interceptions. Young's impressive performance earned him All-City honors and helped the Dutchmen finish with a 7-3 record. As a freshman, he tallied 50 tackles and three sacks. Young's recruitment is expected to gain more steam in the coming months, with several Power Five programs already showing interest. He plans to attend a Texas A&M camp in late July and will also visit Boston College and Syracuse in August. Young's decision is expected to come in the spring of 2025.
