Trevon Hall Commits to SMU

Aquinas Institute quarterback Trevon Hall has committed to play for SMU. The Class of 2025 standout chose the Mustangs over other Division I offers. Hall, who holds a 3.2 GPA, was impressed by SMU's academic programs, particularly the Lyle School of Engineering. He also cited the Mustangs' run-heavy offense as a good fit for his skills. As a junior, Hall led the Little Irish in passing yards and touchdowns, completing 62% of his passes. He was named All-City First Team and All-CHSAA Class AA Second Team. Hall had previously committed to Buffalo but decommitted in May after a coaching change. He plans to enroll at SMU in January 2025 and participate in spring practice. Hall's recruitment was led by SMU quarterbacks coach, Jason Washington.
