Hunter Williams Commits to Arkansas Razorbacks
Canandaigua Braves linebacker Hunter Williams, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to the University of Arkansas. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound athlete chose the Razorbacks over other Power Five offers from the University of Michigan and Penn State. Williams cited Arkansas' 3-4 defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision, noting the opportunity to contribute immediately in the front seven. The Razorbacks' academic reputation and strong engineering program also played a significant role in his commitment. Williams had previously committed to the University of Pittsburgh in January 2024 but reopened his recruitment in May. He is expected to enroll at Arkansas in January 2025 and participate in spring practice. Williams' addition bolsters the Razorbacks' linebacker corps, which is expected to undergo significant changes in the coming season.
