Archbishop Moeller Crusaders' standout flag football player, junior wide receiver Emily Wilson, is attracting interest from top programs. The NCAA's Emerging Sports for Women program has created new scholarship opportunities for female flag football players. The University of Nebraska, the only Power 4 school with a fully funded D1 varsity program, is a prime target for Wilson. NAIA programs Ottawa University (KS), Keiser University (FL) and Midland University (NE) also offer active scholarships. UT Arlington, a Texas D1 program in development, is another potential destination. Wilson will need to meet NCAA eligibility requirements and demonstrate her skills in upcoming tournaments to secure a scholarship. Her recruitment is a significant development in the growing world of women's flag football.
