Jordan Young Commits to Army Football

St. Edward Eagles running back Jordan Young, a Class of 2027 standout, has pledged to continue his football career at the United States Military Academy. Young, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound back, chose Army over other Division I programs due to the Black Knights' power running scheme, which aligns with his strengths as a physical, between-the-tackles runner. The Eagles' coaching staff expects Young to compete for a starting role immediately, given his impressive summer camp performances. Additionally, Army's academic program, which emphasizes leadership development and service, resonated with Young's values. He had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in May, ultimately selecting Army as the best fit for his athletic and personal goals. Young's commitment to Army is a significant addition to the Black Knights' 2027 recruiting class.
