Bryce Johnson Commits to TCU
Massillon Tigers defensive end Bryce Johnson has committed to attend Texas Christian University. Johnson, a Class of 2027 prospect, will join the Horned Frogs as a preferred walk-on. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Johnson chose TCU for its defensive scheme, which aligns with his aggressive playing style. He is expected to compete for a spot on the team's depth chart at defensive end. Johnson also cited TCU's strong academic program and its reputation for producing well-rounded student-athletes as factors in his decision. Johnson decommitted from the University of Toledo in April after considering his options. As a sophomore, Johnson recorded 54 tackles, 12 sacks and 2 forced fumbles for the Tigers. He is considered one of the top prospects in the state of Ohio for the Class of 2027.
