Wayne Warriors Girls Flag Football Players Targeted by Top Programs

๐Ÿ“ Wayne WarriorsยทSaturday, July 25, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Wayne Warriors girls flag football team, a Division I powerhouse from Huber Heights, Ohio, is generating significant interest from top programs across the country. As the National Federation of State High School Associations continues to grow the sport, verified scholarship programs are taking notice. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is set to launch its inaugural 2028 season and has already begun recruiting top talent. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, is also actively recruiting Warriors players. Additionally, Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, have expressed interest in the team. While UT Arlington is developing its program, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. As the OHSAA flag football pilot district expansion creates new scholarship pathways for Texas athletes, Warriors players would be wise to explore these opportunities and take concrete steps to position themselves for success. Interested athletes should research and reach out to these programs directly to learn more about their recruitment processes and scholarship offerings.
