Jalen Brown Commits to Iowa State

Massillon Tigers linebacker Jalen Brown has committed to Iowa State University. Brown, a Class of 2025 standout, chose the Cyclones over other Division I offers. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound athlete is a key addition to Iowa State's defense, which is expected to employ a 4-2-5 scheme in 2026. Brown's commitment provides depth at linebacker, where the Cyclones will lose several starters after the 2026 season. Iowa State's academic program, which offers a range of engineering and business majors, also factored into Brown's decision. He decommitted from Ohio State in February after a coaching change. Brown's commitment marks the first for the Tigers in the Class of 2025. The Massillon program is looking to rebuild after a 2-8 season in 2025.
