Darius White Commits to Iowa State
Owasso Rams kicker Darius White has committed to play for the Iowa State Cyclones, the 6A-I senior announced Wednesday. White, a Class of 2025 standout, will join the Cyclones' program in the fall of 2025. Iowa State's scheme, which features a strong emphasis on field position and special teams, aligns with White's skills and strengths. The Cyclones' depth chart at kicker is expected to be competitive, but White's talent and experience make him a prime candidate to contribute immediately. Iowa State's academic program, which offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degree options, also appealed to White. The Owasso native had previously committed to the University of Tulsa before decommitting in April. White's commitment to Iowa State marks a significant addition to the Cyclones' recruiting class.
