Ottawa University and Keiser University Offer Local Flag Prospects a Chance to Shine
The Jenks Trojans, a perennial powerhouse in Oklahoma 6A-I flag football, are gearing up for the inaugural 2028 season. As the sport continues to grow, local flag prospects are seeking opportunities to take their skills to the next level. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are two NAIA programs actively recruiting top talent. Both schools offer up to 12 scholarships, providing a clear pathway for athletes to secure their future. Jenks flag players are encouraged to attend Ottawa University's or Keiser University's upcoming summer camps to showcase their abilities. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska, a Power 4 school, are also keeping a close eye on the region's top prospects. Local flag players can take the first step by registering for these camps and making a lasting impression on college coaches.
