Cameron Walker Commits to University of Houston
Jenks Trojans wide receiver Cameron Walker has committed to the University of Houston for the Class of 2026. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect chose the Cougars over offers from several other Power Five programs. Walker's decision was influenced by Houston's Air Raid offense, which aligns with his athletic abilities and playing style. He also cited the university's strong academic programs and depth chart opportunity at wide receiver. Walker had previously committed to another program, but decommitted in April to explore other options. As a junior, he recorded 43 receptions for 732 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his potential as a top target in the 6A-I classification. Walker's commitment adds to the growing list of Oklahoma high school standouts joining the Cougars' roster. He is expected to enroll at Houston in the fall of 2026.
