The University of Florida has extended an offer to Malik Young, a rising junior defensive end from Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma. Young, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, has been a dominant force on the Trojans' 6A-I roster, recording 44 tackles and 10 sacks in his sophomore season. The Florida offer is the latest in a string of competitive offers for Young, who has also received attention from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and TCU. Young's impressive performance on the field has not gone unnoticed, as he was named to the All-State team in 2025. With the start of the 2026 season just around the corner, Young is expected to be one of the top defensive prospects in the state. As a junior, Young's recruitment is expected to heat up, with several Power Five programs likely to take a closer look at the talented defensive end.
