Noah Taylor Commits to Houston Cougars
Noah Taylor, a 6-foot-2 linebacker from Owasso High School in Class 6A-I, has committed to the University of Houston. Taylor, a member of the Class of 2026, was a key contributor to the Owasso Rams' defense last season. He chose Houston over other top programs due to the Cougars' 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his playing style. The Cougars' linebacker depth chart also presents an opportunity for Taylor to contribute immediately. Additionally, Houston's strong academic program, which offers a range of business and engineering courses, was a major factor in his decision. Taylor decommitted from Tulsa earlier this summer after re-evaluating his options. He is expected to sign with Houston in the coming weeks. Taylor's commitment adds to the Cougars' strong recruiting class, which is shaping up to be one of the top groups in the American Athletic Conference.
