Jenks WR Carson Walker Commits to SMU
Carson Walker, a 6-foot-2 wide receiver from Jenks High School, has committed to the Southern Methodist University Mustangs. Walker, a Class of 2025 prospect, chose SMU over several other Division I offers. The Jenks Trojans standout is expected to fill a need in the Mustangs' offense, where he will have the opportunity to contribute immediately as a slot receiver. SMU's spread offense is a good fit for Walker's skills, and he will have the chance to compete for playing time in a talented receiving corps. Walker also cited SMU's strong academic program as a major factor in his decision. He holds a 3.5 GPA and plans to major in business. Walker previously decommitted from the University of Tulsa in April, but has since reaffirmed his commitment to SMU.
