Marcus Harris Commits to Texas Tech

Bixby Spartans tight end Marcus Harris has committed to Texas Tech University for the Class of 2027. Harris, a 5A prospect, chose the Red Raiders due to their pass-happy scheme, which aligns with his skills as a receiving tight end. He will have an opportunity to contribute immediately, as the depth chart at tight end is expected to be competitive. Additionally, Harris was drawn to Texas Tech's strong academic program, which offers a range of majors in business and engineering. Harris previously committed to Oklahoma State in February but reopened his recruitment in May after visiting several schools, including Texas Tech and Oklahoma. He is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect with a 4.6-second 40-yard dash time and a 32-inch vertical jump.
