Brown Brings Bragging Rights to Broken Arrow
Tigers safety Hunter Brown made 12 interceptions in his sophomore season, a Broken Arrow program record. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Class of 2027 standout's impressive play earned him a Power 4 offer, the first from the Broken Arrow program. Brown's ability to read the quarterback and make plays on the ball has drawn comparisons to some of the state's top defensive backs. As a junior, he'll look to build on his impressive sophomore campaign and lead the Tigers' secondary in 6A-I competition. Brown has already begun to attract attention from college scouts, who are impressed by his length, athleticism and ball skills. What scouts are watching for: Brown's ability to stay disciplined and avoid taking unnecessary risks in coverage, as well as his development as a tackler in the open field.
