Flag Football Recruiting: Imhotep Charter Panthers Target Inaugural 2028 NCAA D1 Scholarships

๐Ÿ“ Imhotep Charter PanthersยทSunday, July 12, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Girls flag football recruiting has entered a new era, with the University of Nebraska set to launch its inaugural 2028 season under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. The Cornhuskers' Power 4 presence has created a clear pathway for top talent, including the Imhotep Charter Panthers from Philadelphia. Meanwhile, NAIA powerhouses Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, continue to offer up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is also actively recruiting. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet offered scholarships. Imhotep Charter athletes seeking to capitalize on these opportunities can focus on developing their skills through summer camps and highlight tapes, with a focus on the Big Ten's rigorous academic standards.
