๐Ÿ“ Harrisburg CougarsยทTuesday, July 14, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the University of Nebraska prepares to launch its inaugural flag football season in 2028, the Harrisburg Cougars are poised to capitalize on the opportunity. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, known for their expertise in developing women's football talent, will lead the program. For Harrisburg flag football prospects, this means access to a Power 5 school's resources and recruitment efforts. The Cougars' top players can expect targeted recruitment from Nebraska, as well as other NAIA programs like Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, which offer up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is also an active recruiter. Harrisburg athletes interested in flag football should focus on developing their skills through summer camps and highlight tapes, with an eye on the 2028 recruiting cycle.
