Texas A&M Offers Darius Thompson, Top Running Back from St. Joseph's Prep

Texas A&M has extended an offer to Darius Thompson, the standout running back from St. Joseph's Prep's Class of 2026. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Thompson is known for his elusive speed and agility, boasting a 4.4 40-yard dash time and a 35-inch vertical jump. He has already accumulated offers from Penn State, Ohio State and USC, among others. As a sophomore, Thompson rushed for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns, earning him a spot on the All-Catholic League first team. With his impressive combination of size, speed and elusiveness, Thompson is poised to be one of the top recruits in the Class of 2026. He will continue to attend summer camps and participate in showcases to further showcase his skills.
