Harrisburg's Emma Johnson Draws Attention from Nebraska, NAIA Powerhouses

Harrisburg Cougars standout Emma Johnson has caught the eye of top flag football programs. The University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season under coaches Liz and Katie Sowers has sparked interest in local talent. Johnson is also being targeted by Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, both of which offer up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, has also expressed interest in the 6A prospect. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is still in development, it's unclear if they will offer scholarships by the time Johnson is eligible.
