Bishop Hendricken Hawks Flag Football Players Targeted by Nebraska's Liz and Katie Sowers

๐Ÿ“ Bishop Hendricken HawksยทThursday, July 2, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the inaugural 2028 season approaches for the University of Nebraska's girls flag football program, head coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are actively recruiting top talent from across the country. For Bishop Hendricken Hawks players in Warwick, Rhode Island, this presents a unique opportunity to join a Power 4 school's flag football program. Nebraska's NAIA rivals, including Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA program actively recruiting flag football players. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 development program is underway, it has yet to offer scholarships. Hawks players interested in pursuing flag football scholarships should focus on building relationships with coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, as well as researching and reaching out to the aforementioned NAIA programs.
