Coventry S Jalen Williams Commits to Army Football

Jalen Williams, a senior-to-be safety from Coventry High School, has committed to play football at the United States Military Academy. The Coventry Oakers standout, who will enter his senior season as a Class of 2027 prospect, joins the Black Knights' recruiting class. Williams' commitment to Army comes after a thorough evaluation process, during which he considered multiple Division I programs. The Coventry native cited Army's 3-4 defensive scheme and the opportunity to contribute immediately as key factors in his decision. Williams also praised the academy's academic programs and the opportunity to earn a degree from a top-tier institution. He did not decommit from any previous schools prior to making his pledge to Army.
