Coventry Oakers Girls Flag Football Players Eye Scholarship Opportunities Amid RIIL Pilot Expansion

๐Ÿ“ Coventry OakersยทMonday, July 27, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the RIIL flag football pilot district expansion gains momentum in Texas, Coventry Oakers girls flag football players are capitalizing on the growing landscape of verified scholarship programs. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural 2028 season, is a Power 4 school under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse in NAIA's KCAC, offers up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are active recruiters in the NAIA. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it is not yet offering scholarships. Coventry Oakers players can explore these verified scholarship pathways by attending summer camps, showcasing their skills on highlight tapes and researching program requirements.
