Lakewood Gators standout flag football player, Emily Wilson, is generating interest from top college programs. According to sources, Wilson has received unofficial offers from the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural NCAA Division I flag football program in 2028 under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have expressed interest in Wilson's services. Both Ottawa University and Keiser University offer up to 12 NAIA flag football scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, also has a strong interest in Wilson's abilities.
