Austin Allen Commits to Air Force
Lakewood Gators defensive end Austin Allen has committed to Air Force for the class of 2025. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Allen chose the Falcons due to their 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his athletic abilities. He also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately on the depth chart as a factor in his decision. Additionally, Allen was drawn to Air Force's rigorous academic program, which will prepare him for a successful post-football career. Allen was previously committed to Clemson but decommitted in April after visiting the Falcons' campus. He attended Air Force's summer camp and participated in a series of workouts, further solidifying his connection to the program. Allen's commitment marks a significant addition to the Falcons' 2025 recruiting class, which continues to take shape ahead of the upcoming season.
