Bryce Harris Commits to Iowa State
Lakewood Gators defensive end Bryce Harris, a senior in the Class of 2026, has committed to play football at Iowa State University. Harris, a 4A prospect, chose the Cyclones over other Power Five offers. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Harris projects as a strong-side defensive end in Iowa State's 3-4 scheme. He will have the opportunity to contribute immediately, as the Cyclones' depth chart is expected to be retooled following the 2026 season. Iowa State's academic program, which offers a strong engineering program, also factored into Harris' decision. Harris previously held offers from several other Big 12 schools, including Oklahoma and Kansas State, but ultimately chose to commit to the Cyclones on July 10, 2026. Harris is expected to enroll at Iowa State in January 2027.
