Cavaliers Flag Prospects Eye NAIA Opportunities
The Dorman Cavaliers girls flag football team is gearing up for the inaugural 2028 season, and several local prospects are looking to take their game to the next level. As the only Power 4 school in the country to offer flag football, the University of Nebraska is a top target for many. However, for those who may not meet the Huskers' academic requirements, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, offer attractive alternatives. Both schools have a history of recruiting top talent and offer up to 12 scholarships. Local flag prospects can take a closer look at these programs by attending the Ottawa University or Keiser University camps this summer. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at Nebraska and the staffs at Ottawa and Keiser will be on hand to evaluate talent and provide guidance on the college recruitment process.
