Dorman's Hunter Anderson Commits to TCU
Hunter Anderson, a 2026 cornerback from Dorman High School, has committed to play football at Texas Christian University. Anderson, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound defender, chose TCU over other Power Five offers from Georgia and Clemson. The Cavaliers' standout cited TCU's defensive scheme fit as a major factor in his decision, noting the Horned Frogs' emphasis on press coverage and aggressive playmaking aligns with his own strengths. Anderson also praised TCU's depth chart opportunity, stating he sees a chance to contribute immediately as a freshman. Additionally, the cornerback highlighted the university's strong academic program, which he believes will help him achieve his long-term goals. Anderson had previously committed to Clemson in 2023 but decommitted in February to explore other options. He is expected to sign with TCU during the early signing period in December.
