What RB Prospects Need to Bring on Junior Day Visits

๐Ÿ“ Pierre GovernorsยทSaturday, July 4, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

When RB prospects from 11A programs like Pierre Governors attend junior day visits, coaches are looking for more than just a strong highlight reel. They want to see a well-rounded player who can contribute to their team's success. Here are a few key things to bring to the table: A detailed game film that showcases your ability to read blocks and make cuts, as well as your speed and agility. A list of your academic achievements, including your GPA and SAT/ACT scores. A plan for how you'll balance football with academics and other responsibilities. For example, Pierre Governors coach, Joe Johnson, looks for RB prospects who can average 4.5 yards per carry or more in their highlight film. If you can demonstrate that level of production, you'll be one step closer to earning a scholarship.
