Brandon Valley RB DeShawn Allen Lands Offer from Michigan

The University of Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to Brandon Valley Lynx running back DeShawn Allen, a rising senior in the Class of 2025. Allen, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound back, has been one of the top performers in the state of South Dakota, rushing for 1,234 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. He has also been named to the All-State team for the past two seasons. In addition to Michigan, Allen has already received offers from Nebraska, Iowa State, and North Dakota State. Allen has also been clocked at a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and has a vertical jump of 37 inches. As the recruiting process heats up, Allen is expected to take official visits to Michigan and other top programs in the coming months.
