Brandon Valley TE Malik Wilson Commits to Baylor
Brandon Valley Lynx tight end Malik Wilson has committed to Baylor University. The Class of 2025 standout will join the Bears as a tight end. Wilson chose Baylor due to its pro-style offense, which aligns with his skills as a blocker and receiver. He also cited the team's depth chart opportunity, as the Bears are expected to have a void at tight end. Additionally, Wilson was impressed by Baylor's academic program, which offers a strong business and communications curriculum. Wilson previously held a commitment to the University of Nebraska but decommitted in April after re-evaluating his options. He attended Baylor's summer camp in June, where he reportedly impressed coaches with his athleticism and work ethic. Wilson is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end who earned all-conference honors as a junior. He is expected to contribute immediately to the Bears' program.
