Harrisburg Tigers' Multisport Standout Eyes College Flag Football Opportunities
As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 program under coaches Liz and Katie Sowers is generating buzz among multisport female athletes. Harrisburg Tigers' standout, Emily Wilson, is one such player who's made the switch to flag football for a potential college scholarship. Wilson's versatility on the field has caught the attention of Ottawa University, Kansas, which offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting Wilson. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is monitoring her progress. To capitalize on these opportunities, Wilson is focusing on creating highlight tapes and attending summer camps to demonstrate her skills. By taking concrete steps, Wilson is positioning herself for a potential college flag football scholarship.
