As the Roosevelt Rough Riders prepare for the upcoming 11AA season, top prospects are already setting their sights on the University of Nebraska's inaugural flag football season in 2028. Coached by the dynamic duo of Liz and Katie Sowers, the Cornhuskers are poised to become a powerhouse in the Big Ten. For Rough Riders' athletes, this means a prime opportunity to compete at the NCAA Division 1 level. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer NAIA flag football scholarships, with Ottawa University providing up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is an active recruiter in the region. To take advantage of these opportunities, Rough Riders' athletes should focus on building their skills and creating highlight tapes showcasing their abilities.
