Texas A&M Extends Offer to Roosevelt Rough Riders DE Tyler Thompson
Texas A&M has extended a scholarship offer to Tyler Thompson, a defensive end from the Roosevelt Rough Riders of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Class of 2026 standout stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds. Thompson recorded 42 tackles, 12 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles last season, earning him First-Team All-State honors. The Rough Riders' top defender has also received offers from Minnesota, Iowa State, and Nebraska. Thompson is expected to attend a series of summer camps, including the Texas A&M Football Camp and the Nebraska Football Camp. He plans to make official visits to Texas A&M and Nebraska in the fall.
