Marcus Williams Commits to UTSA
Brandon Valley wide receiver Marcus Williams has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio. Williams, a Class of 2027 prospect, chose the Roadrunners over offers from South Dakota State and North Dakota State. The 11AA Lynx standout is expected to contribute immediately in UTSA's pass-happy offense, which should suit his skills as a deep threat. Williams will also benefit from the Roadrunners' strong depth chart at receiver, giving him a chance to develop into a key target for the team. Additionally, UTSA's academic program, which offers a range of business and engineering programs, aligns with Williams' interests. Williams previously held a commitment to South Dakota State but reopened his recruitment in April. He is considered one of the top prospects in the state of South Dakota for the Class of 2027.
